In order to improve and enhance our online services, we may also periodically ask you to provide voluntary information such as success stories, contact preferences, online suggestions, or information regarding your demographical information.

Your information is used to benefit your involvement in our mission.
1. Enabling you to complete a transaction online.
2. Issuing you an income tax receipt for your donation.
3. Updating you on opportunities and events at the LCA.

The first protection we provide is that the Literacy Council of Alaska never sells, rents, leases or exchanges your personal information with other organizations. The identity of all who contact us through our website will be kept confidential. The use of your information is limited to internal purposes of LCA by authorized individuals and serve only to further our mission and no other corporation or organization.
All the information sent to us will remain confidential. Tutor Reporting forms are password protected, and information is used only internally to continue helping our tutors and students. Success Stories, if we choose to publish them online or in a newsletter, will have all names changed to protect the confidentiality of the tutor, the student, and all others involved.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the proper use of information, we have established and implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Removing Your Name From Our Mailing List
To remove your name from our e-mail updates, please send an e-mail with the subject “Remove From E-mail List” to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include which e-mail(s) you no longer wish to receive.
