Donate from an IRA
The Literacy Council of Alaska (LCA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization eligible for qualified charitable distributions (QCD) through the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act of 2015. If you are 72 years of age or older, your gift may count toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) for the year in which the check is issued and is excluded from your taxable income.
To make an IRA rollover contribution to the Literacy Council of Alaska, contact your account administrator for the required forms.

Pick.Click.Give. is available to all Alaskans who file for their Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD) online. You can donate by participate in Pick.Click.Give. within the PFD application process and choose the amount you would like to give.
The State of Alaska issues a 1099-MISC, which you can use to report both your PFD and charitable contributions to the IRS. The 1099-MISC is available online at pfd.alaska.gov.
